Price Guide for the State of Tennessee Schools & Libraries

For Effective School Year for July 1, 2016 until June 30, 2017. Based on the RFQ 33104-0016 Carolina Digital Phone offers to Schools and Libraries under USAC E-Rate Guidelines the following Pricing for Hosted VoIP services in two Service Groups. The first Pricing Group is based on a Per Device Pricing and the second based on on-premise SIP Trunk Pricing. Under both pricing Groups we do not provide internet access, but use the school’s existing internet connectivity. We peer with a number of national Tier 1 backbone providers as found in our Technical Response dated January 29, 2016 page 39 and can deliver excellent quality VoIP using existing internet connectivity. VoIP uses very little internet traffic, and most schools will have plenty of bandwidth available to support VoIP applications. In cases where we find inadequate bandwidth we will make recommendations for (1) additional capacity and/or (2) Router QoS and Bandwidth Management to give voice traffic the highest priority.

Service Group 1 Pricing – Per Device Pricing (100% Cloud based Services)

IP Based Telephone devices are available from a number of sources. We can provide purchase pricing for IP-based devices as non-eligible one-time purchase of hardware that is supported by our per device pricing. The following pricing is based on the number of individual devices in a single school district. Per Device Pricing is eligible for E-Rate Funding. Items noted are non-eligible for E-Rate Funding.

One-time Account Activation and Setup Fees
Account Activation and Setup Per Device $5/each
– assuming our project manager is given MAC addresses, extensions, names in excel document (eligible for E-Rate Funding).
Charge to port local numbers $10/each (eligible for E-Rate Funding)
Charge for New Number Assignments $5/each (eligible for E-Rate Funding)
Optional On-Site Training $1,500 for 1st day, each additional day $1,250 per day. Includes all travel, lodging and out-of-pocket expenses (eligible for E-Rate Funding).

Monthly Per Device Service Pricing
Direct Dial Telephone Number: $1.00/month (non-eligible for E-Rate Funding)
E-911 Service Per location: $1.50/month (eligible for E-Rate Funding)
Minimum commitment required 100 IP-based devices and features include unlimited usage in and outbound calling, voicemail, call transfer, conference calling and more than 100 additional calling features. (Per Device Pricing is eligible for E-Rate Funding)

Service Group 2 Pricing – SIP Trunks (On-Premise Server Based Telephone Switch)

The following is the charge for on-premise services using the School district VM server environment. Citrix XenServer, VMware and stand-alone dedicated servers are supported. The number of CPU cores, memory and disc space is determined upon a site survey, number of devices to be supported and projected in and outbound calling forecasts. A Support Engineer will discuss these requirements with the individual school district IT staff. If server hardware is required we can provide pricing that is non-eligible for E-Rate Funding upon request.

One-time Setup Fees
Configure Sangoma Technologies Commercial-grade Telephone Application Software $1,000/one-time charge. This initial setup can be done remotely.

Ongoing Support for server License: $350/month, includes all Licensed Software, Monthly Maintenance and Administrator Support by a Senior Engineer of the software based telephone switch. (eligible for E-Rate Funding)
